Pool fun

Safety first!

in the tree (before it blew away)
too tired to eat

these are our beautiful lillies

Last Friday morning we were awakened by a horrible storm. The aftermath reminded me of what it looks like after a hurricane. No tornados ever developed so our emergency sirens never went off but we all woke up and went into the basement for safety and we had NO idea what was happening until morning light revealed horrible destruction throughout the whole city. Tree's were uprooted that were huge and sidewalks came with them. Power out all over, not ours thank goodness. I heard a possibility of winds up to 100 mph. It was terrible. The power of nature always amazes me. We had no damage to the house but the big maple tree in front of our house was in our neighbors driveway.
